Buddha Strikes Back

So last night (well, this morning) I was sitting in my chair & reading TCIG to Understanding Buddhism. Sheung-Yee walked by me on the way to the copier & took note of my book, told me 'good for you, you not reading history!'. I was like, "Yeah, but I don't think it's helping me any." She asked why & I told her that I don't have time to meditate. SY had had a very busy, hectic and bad night, so she just laughed & said something like, "none of us have time for anything anymore". Which is funny all on its own because I was sitting there, spending time reading about meditating.

I turned the page & the next paragraph heading was: "But I Don't Have Time to Meditate!"

Damn. Bitch-slapped by Buddha.
