I scored an 87 on my written exam yesterday & have my oral exam tomorrow. My shift went up for bid last night, so I'll find out what happened w/that on Saturday.

I feel strangely lighthearted. Must be the thunder & potential of rain. I've been bowing gassho to the clouds lately - I think this morning they're bowing back.

So I was reading my daily rotten & ran across an article that states young rats are more susceptible to memory loss from marijuana usage than older rats.

Stoned Rats

There's a definite 'duh' factor there. Ever ask a stoned teenager a question?

You: "Hey kid, what's your name?"

Stoned teen: "Uh... (long pause) Uh... (long pause) Uhh... What?"

This can go on for some time.

I started thinking about it. What would happen to Ed if he was fed a stoned mouse? Is that considered slipping a snake a Mickey? (hah, I am Atilla the Pun! All that for a punchline & you read the whole thing before you realized I was working my way up to it!)

It's not just raining, it's pouring. My room has that wonderful dark rain-lit quality right now... I'll be enveloped by it as soon as I finish my tea.
