We're stealing Lake Superior to power the Bellagio fountain
Ok, now, this is just stupid. Per a news article I read on AOL, the 'Sun Belt' is being accused of stealing Lake Superior, draining it into & diverting it via the Mississippi River. Wtf?

Scientists say the lake is getting warmer & the level is dropping rapidly. Sounds to me like Lake Superior is actually a giant volcanic crater & maybe a crack is opening on the lake floor?
