Writer's Block: Teen Time Machine

Ok, this is going to sound really corny and very uncharacteristic for me... but I think being a teen in the 50s would have been fun. Sock hops, poodle skirts, juvenile delinquent boyfriends with souped up hotrods - keen!
Yeah, I know being a teen in the 50s was probably like being a teen at any other time - social awkwardness, pimples, repressive parents, hidden abuse and neglect, what we look at now as stereotypical gender roles... but still, it looks like a lot of fun.
