Good & Bad News

Well, my H. pylori test & various samples all came back negative for bacteria, viruses & parasites. I'm not contagious or Typhoid Jane or anything. The Immodium AD also seems to be working without constipating me.

Unfortunately, it all points to my gallbladder and/or pancreas.

Fuck.

That verily sucks. :/ Is there any symptom relief in the meantime?

I've still got to go through more tests to prove conclusively that it is my gallbladder & not the sudden onset of something like IBS, Crohn's, colitis or one of those.

If it is the gallbladder, there's really not much out there that can provide relief from an attack. Just pain management, cutting some of the fats out of my diet, that kind of thing. My diet isn't all that fatty to begin with, so if I'm having attacks brought on by something like a small bowl of ice cream or a couple of chicken wings, it means there's a pretty good build-up of stones already.

Phlargh!
