I have been fiddling with the runes lately and I came to a sad conclusion. The runes are not a tool for me anymore. I don't know if it's because I've pulled away from Norse traditions or if I've been clouded by no one liking Ralph Blum, or if I've just grown out of them, but they don't work and they don't feel right in my hands.

I have a baggy of ceramic runes, Ralph Blum's Book of Runes & the workbook Rune Play, completely unmarked; and Nigel Pennick's Complete Illustrated Guide to Runes free for the taking. If anyone wants 'em, reply to this or PM me.

Maybe it's time to move onto something new completely? I'm glad you gave one last bash at it though. That shows a lot of dedication.

I feel kind of bad because it's like I'm abandoning them, and they've been with me since I was 10 - not the actual baggy o' runes, but the concept behind the runes & the practice of reading them. Honestly, the Tarot has always worked for me.

As for mah dragons... I've got like, 80 of them now. It's not even an addiction anymore, it's a full-blown obsession.

What's your username? I sometimes like going to a person's scroll and just checking them out. I don't know how many I have, I'm gonna go check now.

Oh I love that you have frozen hatchlings as well! I've been thinking about doing that. And hee, yay for having a dragon named after me. Thank you for the link! :) I can't seem to get any gold or silvers but that's okay, I shall persevere...
