Just Stuff

The scorpions are back. Fuck. Killed one on the back wall & tried to kill one on the porch ceiling last night, but it eluded me. Now whenever the dog goes out we have to provide her an armed escort. She chases the crickets, and scorpions look quite similar to crickets - especially in the dark. I can tell the difference in the way they move, of course, but to Chelsie it's just something else for her to chase. And she sticks that long nose of hers into every little crack & crevice of the walls out there, so the likelihood of her getting nailed in the face is pretty high. We've got children's Benadryl on hand, too.

Got my kidney stent out today. OMFG but it felt so good to finally put an end to that thing! Of course, I still have to pass the stones, yay. I don't care, though. The stent had this string on it. Kind of like a tampon string, only because it was dangling from my urethra, which is extremely sensitive, it was the most obnoxious, irritating thing in the world.

Wipe myself - catch the string. Scratch my crotch - catch the string. Wash myself - catch the string. It would get caught in the elastic on the leg holes of my underwear, so I'd take my underwear off & it would pull on the string. I can barely stand it if someone would accidentally would rub across the opening of my urethra during sex, so I had this string constantly rubbing and cutting into it for two weeks. If the doc had suggested leaving it in for another week or so, I would have pulled the damned thing out myself. Originally, I thought it only went into my bladder, I didn't realize it actually went up into my kidney until I saw the x-ray today. Holy crap, it was almost like, 2 ft' long.

I can honestly, with 100% certainty, say that I would not enjoy urethral sounding in sex play at all. Having that part of my body constantly stimulated was not enjoyable in the least bit. It did not make me horny, it just made it uncomfortable to bend, stretch, sleep, wipe, wash, scratch, walk, and most of all, to pee.

It's cooled off noticeably, it's dark when I get up in the morning... Autumn is truly here.

Yay for getting the string out! HOORAY!
I've had a catheter, it was the most evil fucking thing.

No Strings Attached

They seriously are evil. I feel sorry for men who end up having to have one of those things. All I could think about was, "Man, if I was a guy, and that string got caught in my zipper... I would cry."
