The Brad has been calling me 'Mistress of Darkness' for some time now, and it's caught on (why I don't know), but last night Duane left me speechless. I told him the report was on Jeff's desk, & he says, "I will relay the message, oh Princess of Darkness."
Princess?! I felt my brain cramp at that moment, saw bright pink & sparkly flashes & was like, wtf? Obviously, something short-circuited, didn't compute, caused an illegal operation error & terminal failure.
I also had some bad moments in the elevator - I thought that this time I was actually going to die in the elevator. I started wondering to myself if I had said anything particularly snide or vicious before I left the office on my delivery routes... couldn't think of anything & felt confident that I wouldn't come back in my next lifetime w/any extra karmic ties, and prepared myself for a crushing & painful death plummeting to the basement from the 7th floor.
So now I am the Princess of Darkness, good gods...
