Instinctive Behavior & Tom Cruise

What's grosser than a dead baby joke? Tom Cruise eating his kid's placenta.
I watched a lot of nature shows as a kid (which is probably why I have this little bestiality fetish, but that's for a different lj post...) and after just a few of them, I knew when to change the channel. You'd see some heavily pregnant wildebeest w/a camera crew after her, just following this laboring animal around, waiting to view the 'miracle of beestbirth' that was soon to follow. And then the said wildebeest would drop her calf, lick it clean & eat up the afterbirth. Oh, yummy. I thought a friend's placenta print idea was possibly among the more disgusting childbirth-related things I'd heard of or seen, but I think Tom Cruise possibly tops that. I think he's even given Scientologists a bad name this time.
I'm just waiting for someone to comment with:'But it's different when it's yours!'
