Welcome back, Unconquered Sun, fill the Earth with Your Light!
I touched on this briefly in my other journal, but... for those who don't know my alter-ego (mwuhahahah) I feel it bears repeating, if only giving me yet another excuse to whine & bitch.
Usually the minute the Solstice dawns, I feel better. My spirits lighten, my mood brightens, and I perk right the heck up. I am so tied to the Bright Lord above, He of ruddy countenance and fertile rays. But today I am still in the same funk I've been in for a couple of weeks now. I can't seem to shake it this time, it dogs my heels and nips at my ankles when I'm least expecting it. I'm wondering if it may be the new blood pressure meds. I'm going to see the cardiologist on Tues. morning, so I'll ask him. I've been retaining water, too, which is annoying. I hate that bloated feeling in my fingers & ankles, that edemic puffiness... ugh.
On a brighter note, I did find a gorgeous silver stag for my altar.
