Training Kelly
Apr. 9th, 2005 10:06 amWorking with Kelly these past 3 nights has been interesting. I've come to find that I really have no idea how to show someone exactly what it is that I do all night... Kelly gets distracted easily, and I have to work to keep her focused & tight on the scenario in front of her. After dateroll & room & tax post, we have several room revenue reports to print. I walk Kelly through these reports, and she's taking notes the whole time... She got up to do something else & I told her, no, stop, go get the reports off the printer, first. She stopped & looked at me & asked, "What reports?"
Me: "The reports you just printed."
Her: "I didn't print any reports!"
Me: Then what the Hel were ya just doing over there pushing all those buttons for?"
Her: "I don't know!"
Me: Yes you do, those were the reports!"
Her: "Those reports?"
Me: "Yes, those reports!"
Her: "But I didn't run any reports!"
Me: "OK, FINE, just go get the reports that weren't run sitting on the printer!"
She waddles over there, comes back w/an armload of paper & says, "OOOooh, these reports." She blinks at me a couple of time & asks, "Are you sure I ran these, because I don't remember doing it..."
Probably about 20 more grey hair have joined the party...
Food tasts sooo good when you're hungry & sedated.
