Mantras in the Media

I have a mantra taped to my computer: 'Nam Myoho Renge Kyo'. This morning, Rob was flipping channels & happened across a monk chanting on one of the music stations. After a moment or two of listening, I realized, "Hey, that's my mantra!" My pronunciation of it wasn't too far off, either - except I pronounce 'Renge' as 'Ring-ay' & not as 'Ling-ay' and my accents were a little misplaced. Loosely translated, it means having faith in the powers of cause and effect. Anyway, Xzibit's song 'Concentrate' has a monk chanting 'Nam Myoho Renge Kyo' continuously in the background. That's some powerful music.
