Eric & I would sit around in his garage, getting drunk, fucking intermittently & I would dance spastically to music he would spin.
I've been looking for awhile now, but I cannot seem to find any of the techno remixes he had... There was one group or DJ that did remixes of popular music, like Metallica's Enter Sandman and Madonna's Like a Prayer. I don't know if it was the same group/DJ who did it or not, but there were also some techno mixes of Beethoven's music. There was another one who did crap like the theme to Speed Racer (there he goes, there goes speed racer...), an Inspector Gadget mix w/a hook that ended up in Lords of Acid's "Must Increase My Bust" & the Sesame Street song. It's been driving me nuts because I think the group had some kind of number in their name, like Front 242 or U96 or 311 something (but it's not one of those). (Hah, speak of the devil - I just looked over at my streaming radio to see Beefcake Mix by Front 242)
I have e-mailed Eric about it but he's sporadic at replying, and usually never replies to anything I ask him directly... I think he sent me back some oddball link to the Mutter Museum the last time around. Gods, I love my few existing friends.
