Went to the Ren Faire today for a couple of hours. It was frikkin cold today. Ran into a couple of coworkers but didn't see anyone else that we knew. There was this guy playing Metallica's Nothing Else Matters on a dulcimer. He said eventually he's going to release a CD of the Black Album all on dulcimer. He can handcraft them, too - for a mere $1049. We just kind of roamed around, saw the draft horses, listened to music, watched belly dancers & the antics of the Pict camp. It was beautiful out there, not too crowded & Rob was able to just relax & enjoy himself. I'll probably post the pics on Webshots like I've done for the past few years.
Went grocery shopping afterwards & picked up a couple of new toys for Chelsie. She absolutely loves that squeaky thing. I'm just happy to see how much she's adapting in just the few days we've had her. She went from being very unsure of everything to being queen of the couch. She's either got kennel cough or an upper respiratory infection, so we didn't want to take her out to the park with us - had to leave her shut up in the bathroom (our version of crate training) & when we got home she was ecstatic to see us, but the second I gave her the squeaky toy all her rambunctious attention was on that thing - which is kind of relieving since I'm whipped from walking around the park.
