30 Days of Books

For most of the past five years, I've been in school. In other words, I haven't been reading much of anything except textbooks. Now that I'm free from my educationary shackles, I'll be able to read some of the stuff that other people have been talking about. I've joined a book/reader forum in the past month or so and I just went to the library the other day. I tell y'all, it's good to be able to read for pleasure again, and it's good to see those nasty old school books sitting in a pile for buyers of my used crap.
I'd like to get into the Discworld series. I picked up Terry Pratchett's Small Gods, thinking it was William Gibson's American Gods only to find it's somewhere in the Discworld series. So I'm going to hunt down Discworld, even if it means ordering it off of amazon.com (le gasp!). From what I've read of Small Gods it looks like I'll enjoy it, even though I've never read anything other than anthologized Terry Pratchett short stories. Because the wonderful
azhure is always talking about him, I'm going to check out some Charles De Lint.
