The hope, the raw desire, the wanting, the anxiety and anticipation... it hurts. I think I may end up taking some of Rob's Xanax.
The h.r. woman at the DA's office said, "Well, you'll start on the 11th of Feb. That should give you time to give your job notice."
In my head, I was thinking, "Uh, no, I'm not giving notice. This still isn't a sure thing!" Aloud, I told her, truthfully, that I would still work at the Excalibur until I passed probation & the insurance switched over. She said something which translated roughly as, "If you can work two jobs & go to school, you are probably Superwoman in disguise."
