The Golden Number & Teaching Opportunities

Went to my new gynecologist today. Way the Hel out on the other side of town, but oh well. I don't know what it is about gynecologists out here, but the waiting rooms are always packed & I've never waited less than an hour before being put in a room, and today was no exception. Whatever, I had a book.
Finally got called back for the height/weight/blood pressure thing. The office staff was fantastic, honestly. Everyone was sweet and hysterically funny.
The doctor came in (he's from Africa) & we went over my medical history & my current miserable problem. He asked how old I was (35), did I have kids (childfree-by-choice) & what was my contraceptive choice (husband has a vasectomy). Then he asked, "Would you like an endometrial ablation?"
I almost came close to jumping on him like he was Bob Barker & I had just won Plinko.
I've had a couple of chances to apply the new 'Me as Teacher' approach tonight on one of the pagan forums I visit, but I am just mentally whipped.
