Rob got some so-so news from the urologist today. He's got testicular torsion and right now his testicle is still 'alive'. He's going for an ultrasound on Thursday but won't get an interpretation of the results til the end of the month. Here's the bad thing, tho - the pain & intermittent swelling will continue, especially with exertion. Surgery may or may not fix it, and the doctor told him that men who have a torqued testicle removed often feel shadow pain that is worse than the original pain, sometimes to the point of not being able to walk or move at all. She recommended something called a 'Lidocaine' test to check his nerve sensitivity - basically if he feels any of the stimulus the surgery wouldn't fix anything.

The good news - we can have infrequent low-impact sex. Being married, and playing WoW, this shouldn't be a problem.
