One of the steady extras has been scheduled on graveyard to fill in for one of the troublesome clerks who is now thankfully on maternity leave... So night before last he came in to bank out & said something along the lines of, "So all you do all night is sit back here & listen to the radio?” This morning I was sitting at my desk reading, waiting for the supervisor to check my report so I could go the fuck home & he comes in & says, “Must be nice to sit there & get paid to read”. I explained that being a night auditor involved a lot of waiting around & he says, “Well, I would find something to do”.
His mom works in HR, so he thinks he’s got ‘juice’. What he doesn’t realize they don’t call me the Mistress of Darkness for nothing.
