Eragon

Rented Eragon & watched it last night. Just one word describes it for me. 'Meh'. The minute the dragon started talking I lost the rest of what interest I had in the flick. Didn't give us time to get to know any of the characters before expecting us to be emotionally involved in them. It's probably better for kids - the plot is fairly simple & straightforward.

I did all my laundry today. Slowly preparing for the surgery. It's only going to be about an hour & a half, but I have to fast from midnight until I wake up - sometime around 3pm that day. I can't even drink any water. I'm going to shrivel up & die of dehydration. I'm trying to shift to a day schedule over the weekend so I won't suffer so much Monday night. I'm also trying to figure out which shirt to wear: Always a Pallbearer, Never a Corpse or the subtle but amusing I Put the Fun Back in Funeral.

I still have a science paper to write. It's still due April 6th. I'm not getting very far.

Yeah, I saw it in the theatre and was not at all impressed. It's a shame.
