Superstition

I'm beginning to wonder about the bad luck that seems to be plaguing this household. On top of everything else that Rob's had happen, he broke a tooth. This morning as I was falling asleep, it felt like something low to the floor hit the corner of my bed. I only freaked out a little... but then this afternoon, I took a shower & noticed four fine parallel scratches on my inner thigh. Last night I found a fine scratch a little deeper in between my thighs. I keep my fingernails short and smooth... so even if I did manage to scratch myself in my sleep or while rowing the little man in the boat the other morning, the scratches would have a different configuration. These are almost like cat scratches, or even razor slices, not stubby human fingernail scratches. Not to mention it would be something I'd notice previously when going to the bathroom. Anyway, while I was taking my shower, my shower stool broke. I'm fat, but damn... not that fat.
Just some weird crap happening, and it all seems to have started after seeing that fox on television. Anyway, Rob's back from Hammerfall, so I gotta go loot some tomb.

Though... from my own brief encounters with it in journey, I don't think it's something that's going to go away quickly. I'm probably saying something you already know though. :/

My husband's long drawn-out emotional conversations with his mom & sister have had him upset for the past week or two. As a result, he took off a medallion his mom had given him when he was a kid to help sever the constant psychic connections & replaced it with a different, insignificant silver coin. This could have prompted a bit of middle-aged poltergeist activity. Unfortunately, no one else lives here but me & him.
The household spirits are not used to me being physically home so much. I might be crowding them - or they may be abusing the fact that I am not physically capable of defending myself right now & are testing me.
Every time it gets windy here, stuff runs amok in the house. I've been home at night, so I've been noticing all the crap that goes on while I'm at work, especially how noisy this place is. I kept seeing someone walking up & down the hallway & seeing movement behind me. I got fed up last night & threatened to kick everything out once I was able to walk around holding a censer of Vesta powder again. A few minutes later, something audibly yelled, where both me & Rob heard it... it sounded like it said, "Go home!" or "My home!", but the voice was also a caw, like the two syllables formed words but sounded more like, "Ka-caw!" at the same time. (I repeated my threat to all except Pazuzu, who lives in the chimney - I told him he needed to come out of the chimney & open a can of whoop-ass on the rest of the household goms who've been acting up).
I may try leaving the fox-spirit an offering if my other half goes to the grocery store tonight. I don't have anything suitable in the house... Japanese kitsunes like grapes, but I don't know about Tibetan foxes. Kumiss is a little hard to obtain here, lol.
