Crash Test Dummy

Rob tried on a new career this morning - crash test dummy. He decided he was going to slink off his post a little early, had the headlights out so as not to alert his coworker, & promptly ran into a fire hydrant. He's kind of in worse shape than the car - probably has a minor concussion, his lower back, neck & shoulders got wrenched, but will he go to Quik-Care to get a once-over from a professional quack? Noooo, he prefers to put his spine in my trust. The amateur quack. Anyway, according to Merck, he can take Tylenol &/or Ibuprofen. Which should be a relief to both of us. I'm surprised he doesn't have a huge goose-egg on his fo'head, or a coupla' nice shiners for his trouble. Homey's got a hard head.

I think there's something in the contract for men that equates to not using what medical resources are available to you, much like not using maps when lost. But really, ol' Merck & the 'Net told me all the doctors would tell us anyway - watch out for uncontrollable vomiting, pupils being different sizes, uncontrollable/inappropriate drowsiness, nose, eyes or ears bleeding, ringing/deafness, short-term memory loss, slurred speech, incoherence, lightheadedness... all those brain-swelling symptoms. Of course, Rob has a lot of those symptoms anyway w/out having a head injury...
