What do you think of my new drum?

Ok, cough it up, put it right out front - get on the bus. Tell me what you REALLY think of my new userpic! I don't care if it's good or bad - I've already supplied the ugly.

Would you prefer a picture of Rob's rhoids? Apparently, they resemble the pattern of a bear paw.

WOW!!! You're hair is LONG!! Ive never seen you with it that long before. You are the only one going long. Mine is at my shoulders almost. Im glad to finally SEE you!! Its been forever and Ive already seen ya naked more than once. ;) Im glad to see Bob is doing well. That is Bob, right? Id hate to think that Rob wasted away to nothing ;p
The drum looks fantastic. I wouldnt mind beating out a few rhythms on it. Its much bigger than I thought it would be. What wasnt clear to me was that if they wanted you to send back the extra drums or not. Either way, you got a great looking drum there. Are you going to decorate it? If so, I'd be happy to help!
Take care and I will see you around!

What's weird is that after seeing the drum in my photo, I decided it's 'the one' because the patterns on it makes it look like the Moon. I meditated with it a little but kept falling asleep >.< . Bob likes 'em, and was quite pleased to be honored with a photo this morning.

I ended up paying for the extras - it was the right thing to do. (Pats self on back). I haven't decided if I'm going to keep them or gift them or what... I imagine the drums will tell me once I've gotten some rest & can stay awake long enough to receive the message.

Anyway, I've got some designs in mind - and I know this particular drum wants feathers and a coupla bells. Since I am obviously too white to get ahold of eagle feathers, it's going to have to be content with turkey or pheasant.

They are lovely! I love rain instruments (if that is, indeed, the proper term). Lucky you. I would probably just sit for hours listening to the sound of the ocean, rocking them back and forth.

blush.

I guess I'm not very mature yet, to be so easily amused? Ah well.

I think you are lovely as well, which I hope you take as the honest compliment it's truly meant to be. As for the... um... other?... picture you volunteered- please no.

Enjoy your drums- are they letting you keep the two extras?

And... well... once again I hope you don't mind me reading your journal and posting. Your life is a light to mine.

Hey, thanks!

I'm obviously not very mature either - I can sit & just rock the one drum back & forth, listening to the pebbles roll to & fro. It does sound more like ocean than rain to me, tho. And I am the one with the collection of rubber suction cup creatures, one of which is stuck to my forehead at the moment.

Sometimes, you have to stop & play.

Sunflower, you can stop by anytime you want to read about my adventures in Mundania.

I love your adventures in Mundania. It's like Alice in Wonderland for me- I spend so much time looking through the looking glass at how the "normal" side lives.

How sad is it that you seem normal to me? That... wasn't meant to be an insult. It's a compliment, just a really round-a-bout one. Maybe I should just... oh... delete my last few sentences and go curl up in the sand somewhere.

blush

I just... well, you call me Sunflower and you make me smile and I keep wanting to tell you all these odd things... like the fact that Kam/Justin (my fiance) and our friend Daniel/Kedaeris are completely addicted to WoW and that we all play together sometimes. I don't know *why* I wanted to tell you that so badly... huh. I really am lonely.

So anyway, while I can still type without spontaneously combusting from internal embarrassment- sorry about your cold. I was just happy to see rain, but I spent the day curled up inside too. At least I had good company.

Believe me, I am the last person anyone else should feel self-conscious around. I say a lot of weirdly stupid things at inopportune moments, half the women at work think I'm mentally undressing them... I post almost-nekkid pictures of myself on the internet... I talk about my husband's rhoids in public... I have days where I can make Roseanne Barr seem like a very classy lady. I like being part of your world when you want me in it.

I'm way too deep in the WoW experience, too - when my classes aren't eating up my play time :P

Well, are you undressing them?

smile

I think it's wonderful how free you are with yourself- it must be refreshing.

Sometimes I wish I was allowed to be me in public- the best I can do is striped stockings. Too much attention gets my kind killed.
