Don't Worry, Be Happy

So I got these Goddess Oracle cards a while back, mainly for the art by Lisa Iris. She did the art on Llewellyn's first Goddess calendars, way back in the day. This morning I felt a need to draw a card from somewhere, so I grabbed this deck off my shelf & asked the question, "How can I become a better person?" I pulled Lakshmi, who tells me, "Don't worry. Everything is going to be fine." The slightly more in-depth explanation from the little book tells me "Why surround yourself in darkness when the light is all around you?"

I find myself somewhat skeptical as to how this will make myself a better person. I am the Mistress of Darkness, after all.
