Bad Medicine

Last night I either had a mild cardiac event (which to me sounds like being on the event horizon of a point singularity, but I digress) or a big damn kidney stone is moving around, blocking off arteries & making me feel like I was having a heart attack. This all started about 6:30pm last night & I checked myself out of the hospital against doctor advisement about 20 minutes ago. I'm feeling better now, but my back is still killing me & I'm still a little swimmy.

I'm kind of feeling like I did this to myself - if this is what Seal's initiation feels like, I'm not sure I want to go swimming any time soon. My pain tolerance is amazingly high, but at one point I started praying for a fast end.

Oops, My Bad

Yeah, apparently this is what happens when you let your blood pressure meds lapse & just don't get around to getting them refilled. My blood pressure spiked into the atmosphere & I almost had a stroke. So I've gotten my wrist thoroughly slapped by all the hospital staff & my doctor, who told me it doesn't matter what time of day or night it is to leave the office a message & she'll fax a refill order over to the pharmacy for me. At least my cholesterol isn't bad on top of everything else, lol.

I'm back in the wide world of low-sodium low-fat no-flavor foods. Blargh!

And I've got Lucky Kitty Gymshorts now, which are way more powerful than Wonder Woman Underoos :D
