Called the urologist this morning & got my appointment reinstated.
Damn straight.
It's funny, I was more upset by the prospect of having to work tomorrow morning than by the fact that the nurse just arbitrarily canceled my appointment.
I worked today, too - actually slogged my way through crap that's been sitting on my desk for a week. It was kind of satisfying to say, "Ah, finished".
Kind of an aside... a few months ago when the Plague Doctor-coughing ghost beastie visited me, I couldn't find very many pictures of a plague doctor on line. Now, it seems, this medieval quack has been getting somewhat of a resurgence in popularity. I see it everywhere. Maybe it's some subconscious movement due to the swine flu?
It visited me again last night, standing over the bed, muttering and hacking at me. Set Chelsie off on a bark-fest.
Well, to be honest, I don't know if it was Il Dottore della Peste who set Chelsie off - she's spooky even in a well-lit room.
This painting of Il Dottore is a little too familiar-looking.
