Dinner & a Movie

Just went to see 'Constantine'. Wow. I'm so glad I dragged Rob to see it on the big screen - somehow the spreading of wings & the fires of Hell wouldn't have had as big an impact on the t.v.

Satan was just plain creepy, tho. He was kind of a mix between Hannibal Lecter & the angel Christopher Walken played in 'Prophecy'. I expected him to go around licking things.

I tell you something else. Papa Midnight? I know who he really was.

I basically sat thru the whole thing w/my hair on end & getting chills.

Yes..Constantine is one of my new heroes -definitely-. I thought Keanu would either be too 'Matrix' or too 'Bill and Ted' for this but hot damn it was great! My favorite line : 'You better cover your eyes......alright..suit yourself'

Alright, you got me who WAS Papa Midnight??? I personally thought he was very cool since both kinds of halfbreeds gave HIM respect in HIS house..hehe..I loved it!

Damn, makes me want to see it again before it disappears from the big screen!

Well, to me, Keanu Reaves is a very, very limited actor. 2 expressions, one voice tone, that's it. But it works for Tommy Lee Jones ('This is my happy face!) so who am I to complain?

Papa Midnight? Ohhh, if you don't know, I aint gonna tell ya. But he opens the door, and you have to pay attention to him first before you can talk to the big bosses ;)

I thought that freakin' electric chair was gonna come sliding over the floor fer sure like the one in 'Serpent & the Rainbow'.

Yup, quite the hair-raising experience!
