Caterpillars & Christopher Walken

So the other night I was watching VH1's Classic Jukebox (hosted by The Donnas, no less) and they played Whitesnake's "Is This Love". So I'm looking at David Coverdale & thinking to myself how I used to think he was a Robert Plant clone, but now I realize that he's a hairy Christopher Walken. So I told Rob & he's like, "Oh, so that's why you had the hots for him. He's Christopher Walken without the scary aspects." And then he proceeded to ramble on about the difference between naked caterpillars & fuzzy caterpillars, which was a really good analogy, actually. Christopher Walken is the non-fuzzy caterpillar - intriguing in a nasty sort of way that you don't really want to touch. David Coverdale is like a woolly bear caterpillar. He's all fuzzy.
Rob is just talking up a storm this morning. Usually he's pretty uncommunicative in the a.m. but today (probably because I'm in here writing) he's just going on & on & on... tongue hinged in the middle & flapping at both ends. Guess I ought to go give him some attention or something.
