Aging

In about 30 days, I'm going to be 35.

I don't know how I feel about that.

I'm halfway to the end.

I just never expect to make it to these mile markers.
Didn't expect to survive to 18 (I mean, I really didn't expect to survive to 18 - some of the schools I went to - yeesh). I didn't expect to make it to 21... or 30... and now I'm staring 35 in the eye. And all the years behind it.

It's a sobering thought that makes me want a drink.
